Academic Advising

Lower Division Students (those with 0-59 completed units) will receive Advising Services at the new Undergraduate Advising Hub, located at the Student Services Center (9th Street & San Fernando).

Our Student Success Center located in Clark 240 will continue to serve Upper Division Students (those with 60+ completed units).

GE Advisors are available to assist you with GE Planning/Scheduling, American Institutions, PE, transfer credit, unit counts, academic notice, and university policies & procedures.

2024 - END OF YEAR ADVISING

For Continuing Students Only:

In-person & virtual appointments can be scheduled via Spartan Connect through December 13th.

If you are seeking advising between December 16-23, please email your Advisor directly with your availability, and they will schedule an appointment on your behalf. (Please note: We are not offering drop-ins at this time.)

For Incoming Students (Spring 2025 admits):

GE Advisors are currently serving continuing students. Please refer to your specific major program requirements for course planning assistance. Advisors will also be available to assist you during course registration at orientation. 

Spring 2025 admits will be able to schedule appointments via Spartan Connect starting January 23, 2025.

A Department Major Advisor is available if you have questions related specifically to your major, such courses within your major, internships, or other related questions regarding specific major programs.
